Welcome!

At Free Chapel Preschool it is our goal and desire to provide quality care, a nurturing environment, and valuable preschool education for your child from ages 2 through Pre-Kindergarten. We will partner with you in the total development of your child as he or she grows spiritually, physically, cognitively, and socially.

Philosophy & Mission

Mission

We are Free Chapel Preschool & Kindergarten and serve the children and families in our community from ages 2 to 5 years old. Our Mission is to build within each child a strong foundation in God’s Word and create a desire within their hearts, joyfully serving the Lord. We provide a safe environment for children to grow, learn, develop, play, thrive, and become all God has purposed them to be. We believe every child is entitled to personal attention in a relaxed atmosphere that fosters a sense of safety, security, and love. We accomplish this with highly trained teachers that hold a strong background in early childhood education.

Philosophy

Children will learn, grow and develop as they play, socialize, listen, and experience the world around them. Free Chapel Preschool & Kindergarten establishes their confidence, creativity, independence, and love of learning through daily opportunities presented to them by our program.

Helping Your Child Explore, Grow, & Learn

At Free Chapel Preschool & Kindergarten, we understand that this is an important and exciting time for you as you choose a preschool and kindergarten for your child. At Free Chapel, we foster each kid’s growth by providing a loving, supportive, and nurturing environment where they develop a lifelong love of learning. Our educational philosophy provides a child-centered learning environment that educates the whole child – intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically.

Our educational programs, along with our caring, dedicated, and highly educated staff, are what sets us apart.

We know you have many choices in selecting a school for your child. We invite you to tour our school and learn more about our programs and meet our staff.

What We Offer

Curriculum

We utilize Mother Goose Time as our source for curriculum. We will have weekly themes that incorporate related books, crafts, and activities. Additionally, we also focus on a Bible story each week. Free Chapel Preschool & Kindergarten provides enrichment lessons for our students, introduces varied learning throughout the year, and integrates technology and kindergarten readiness into our Pre-K classes.

Programs

Young Preschool (2 years)
Ratio 1:6 (one teacher for every 6 children).
Our Two-Year-Old Program focuses on learning how to live in a community by taking turns and following a routine that includes hands-on emphasis on language development. The environment emphasizes outdoor activities, ABCs, numbers, and shape recognition in a fun space. We emphasize language skills and verbal expression through learning centers, interactive play, and socialization with peers. Our classrooms accommodate our two-year-olds as we focus more on language development, attention span, and independent routines.
Potty training applies to any of our programs at an additional cost monthly so that students can learn at their own pace. As they see their peers master this skill, they are inspired to do it themselves.
Preschool (3 years)
Ratio 1:10 (1 teacher for every 10 children).
Children in our Three-Year-Old Program make choices in various classroom-learning centers that challenge them to explore independently or with peers. Number and letter recognition, art and music experiences, science experiments, small and large muscle development, and a strong emphasis on social skills are found daily in this classroom. Children will begin to print, recognize the alphabet and learn simple and basic math concepts. In addition, the children will begin to memorize scripture verses and simple poems. These children are learning more responsibilities and have more structure in their hands-on learning environment. Fun, freedom to explore, and the ability to achieve are indicators that these children will be ready for the next steps in our later programs.
Pre-Kindergarten (4-5 years)
Ratio 1:10 (1 teacher for every 10 children).
For children turning five years old by September 1, this class is beginning to master printing their names, recognizing letters, numbers, six basic shapes, skills for pre-reading and pre-math, as well as broadening their vocabulary. They will mature in social, emotional, and spiritual character working in teams and bonding with friends. These children will test for kindergarten readiness in the spring, children leaving the preschool will join Kindergarten in the fall.
Kindergarten

Ratio 1:12 (1 teacher for every 12 children)

Kindergarten is an important time of transition for young children and is the foundation year upon which future academic success is built. Free Chapel Preschool & Kindergarten is committed to helping your child grow and learn in a Christlike and nurturing environment that promotes self-discovery, celebrates accomplishments, and shows our children the love of God in their everyday life.
